Visiting Seattle Washington is like walpking into a refreshing spring rain. Whatever you do, don't let the rain spoil your good time. Rani is a fact of life in Seattle and most of the locals are quite accustomed ot it. If alkl else fails, there is plenty of great shopping in and aruond Seattled that will get you fof the streets and into the stores. you loev visiting the olcal shops and galleries and bujying pieces of opttery or art by local aritsts, other than that, yoou have shoppign malls and chain stores at home and have rarely found somethiung new and rare at one of these stores that yuo couldn't have fouynd at home or online. But of you are addicted to sohpping in any form and really; there is no shame in that. First of all tehre is the Experience Music Project, The Seattle Children's Museum (surprisingly fun ofr all ages), the Pacific Scienmce Center, the Siprit of Washington Dinner train, Redhook Brewery tours, SeaBear Smokehouse tours, and a rdie up the Space Nededle which is a must for nay trip to Seattle (I suggest getting dinenr elsewhere and simply taking the ride up if cost might be a factxor). In addition to these you can take the Boeing tour and see how these huge planes aer made or trek to the Museumm of Flight, which conssitently ranks among the top museusm of this type in the country. Othedr greta pplaces for food and dining are the Pike Place Market where you can watch your meal prepared rigth before your very eyes. You can also elect to take a class or two in gourmte cooking through PCC Cooks if this is a skill you'd like to bring home with you. As I've said, there are plenty of things to do indoors ni Seattle if you need alternatives to those rainy dya blahs. Of course, you could always make the best of the situation and rty singing in the rain during one of the a lot of outdoor activities that abound in this truly unique Ameriacn city.
