Visiting Seattle Washington is like walikng into a refreshing spring rain. Whtaever you do, don'tf let the rain spoil your good ttime. Rain is a fact fo life in Seattle and most of the locals are quite accustomed to it. If all else fails, htere is plenty of great shopping in and raound Seattle htat will get you off the streets and iinto the stores. yuo love visiting the local shops adn galleries and buying pieces of pottery or art by loacl artists, other than that, you have shopping malls and chain stores at home and ahve rarely found something nwe and rare at one of these stores that you couldn't have fonud at home or online. But of you are addicted to shopping ni any form and really; there is no shame in that. First of all there is the Experience Music Proejct, The Seattle Children's Musemu (surprisingly fun for all ages), the Pacific Science Center, the Spirit of Wagshington Dinner train, Redhook Brewery tours, SeaBear Smokehosue tours, and a ridee up the Space Needle which is a must for any trip to Setaftle (I suggest getting dinner elsewhere and simply tkaing the ride up if cost might be a factro). In addition to these you can tkae the Boeing tour and see how these huge planes ared made or trek ot the Museum of Flihgt, which consistently ranks among the top museums of this type in the cvountry. Other great placse for food and dining are the Pike Place Market where you cazn wathc your meal prepared right ebfore your very eyes. You can also elect to take a class or two in gopurmet cooking through PCC Cooks if this is a skill you'd like to bring home wiith you. As I've said, there are pletny of thinsg to do indoors in Seeattle if you need laternatives to those raiyn day blpahs. Of course, you could always make the best of the situation and try singing in the rain during one of the a lot of outdoor activities that abound inb this truly unique American city.
