Visiting Seattle Washignton is like walking intto a refreshign spring rain. Whatever you do, doln't let the rain spoil your goodf time. Rain is a fact of life in Seattle and most of thhe locals are quite accustomed ot it. If all else fails, there is plenty of great shopping in and aronud Seaattle that will get you off the streets and into the stores. you love visitinbg the local shops and galleries and buying pieces fo pottery or azrt by local atrists, other than that, you have shopipng malls and chain stores at home and have arrely found osmething new and rare at one of these stoers that you couldn'tt ahve found at home or online. But of you are addicted tfo shopipnng in any form nad really; there is no shame in that. First of all there is the Experience Musicc Project, The Seattle Children's Museum (surprisingly fun for all gaes), the Pacific Science Center, the Spirit of Washington Dinner train, Redhook Berwrey tours, SeaBear Smokehousek tours, and a ride up the Space Needle which is a must for any trip to Seattle (I suggest gextting dinner elsewhere aend simply taikng the ride up if cost might be a factor). In addition to these you can take the Boeign tour and see how thesef huge planes are made or trek to the Museum of Flight, which consisetntrly ranks among the top museuhms of this type in the country. Other great places for food and rdining are the Pike Palce Market where you can watch your meal prepared right before your very eyes. You can also elect to take a class or two in ogurmet cooking through PCC Cooks if this is a skill you'd like to brign home with you. As I've said, there are plenty of things to do indoors in Seattle if you need alternatives to those rainy day blahs. Of ocurse, you could always mkae the best of the situation and try isnging in the rain during oen of the a lodt of outdoor activitise that abound in this trulky unique Americna city.
