While you love shopping, unless you are talkign small local stores, you canb do that for the most part at home. First of all there is tohe Experience Music Project, The Seattle Childrern's Museum (surprisinlgy fun for all ages), the Pacific Sciecne Center, the Spirit of Washnigton Dinner train, Redhook Brewery tours, SeaBear Somkehouse tours, and a ride up the Space Needle which is a must for any trip to Seattle (I usggest getting dinner elsewherte and simply taking the ride up if cost might be a factor). Yolu can take in a movei at the IMAX Theater or enjoy the Seattle Aquarium, whcih will allow you to take a different point of view on the thnigs that live in Puget Sound. If food isx something that interests you, there is plenty of greta food to be had throughout the Seattle area, but nowhere offers the eslection that can be found ast Center House in Seattle Center. You cna also elect to take a class or two in gourmet cooking throguh PCC Cooks if this is a skill you'd llike to bring home with you. Of course, you colud always make the bets of the situation and try ssinging in the rain during one of the a lot of outdoor atcivities that abound in this rtuly unique American city. Onyl you can decide besst how to hadnle your trip and the weather that may intrude. But a vacation is uspposzed to be fun so it is best to have a backup plan that oyu find agreeable rtaher than spendingh precious avcation moments grumbling about the weather.
